Update 7/4/25: Reviews will mostly be closed due to a reading backlog. I will also be unavailable and on vacation mid-July through August. I anticipate re-opening my review waitlist in Sept.
Guidelines:
I often accept book review requests from authors/industry publishers when my schedule allows. I accept both physical and electronic ebook copies either submitted to me directly as well as via Netgalley or BookSirens‘ platform. As a reader and reviewer, I reserve the right to accept or decline requests for any reason. If you are interested in requesting a review, please see the following guidelines and requirements before contacting me via the Contact Me form or email:
- All requested reviews will be honestly composed and represented. While it is not my intention to write harsh or overly negative reviews, my reviews highlight both positive and negative aspects and may contain subjective points written as such. If interested, please see my past ARC Reviews listing for examples of what a requested review may look like.
- Upon completion of the requested read and review, I may post the review to my various platforms including but not limited to The Book Grind, Goodreads, The Storygraph, etc. If you would like a review to be cross-posted to a particular platform or store listing, this must agreed upon prior to the ARC arrangement.
- In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requirements, all posted reviews will have an appropriate disclaimer detailing the complimentary or advanced reader copy reviewing arrangement.
- Reading and reviewing timeframes will vary based on my schedule. If the review must be completed by a certain date or on a certain platform, this must be discussed during the initial request inquiry.
- eBook formats: EPUB, AZW, MOBI. PDF is not recommended, submissions will be converted prior to reading.
- While I consider myself a variety reader, the following genres are those I am most comfortable with:
- Science Fiction, High/Epic Fantasy, Speculative Fiction, Mystery Thriller
- Genres less preferred but possibly accepted:
- Contemporary Fiction, Literary Fiction, Romance, Romantasy, Historical Fiction (unless sci-fi/fantasy flavored) based on the premise
- Genres and content I typically will not accept:
- Familial Drama, Domestic Thriller, Poetry
- Non-Fiction, Memoir, Business, Politics, Self-Help, Spirituality/Religion, New Age

Status Key:
- OPEN: Accepting new requests with flexible accommodations.
- WAITLIST AVAIL: Waitlist available for non time-sensitive requests. Acceptance will be more selective.
- WAITLIST RESTRICTED: Waitlist available for contacts I have previously worked with only.
- CLOSED: No new requests accepted at this time.
